Sweet Pea

On October 11 2017 her loving friends helped Sweet Pea cross the bridge to be with her daddy again. She was with Pug Rescue since November 2012 and we all loved her dearly.
Her story:
Sweet Pea came into rescue at the age of 8 with her father Prince after their owner passed away. We tried to find them a home together but after Prince died in 2012 she was taken off the website. She was born with a lack of oxygen which makes her have a wobbly walk and she tends to sit or lean against either the wall or her foster mom or dads leg. She is the sweetest little love pug to humans but her spunky side will emerge at times towards the other pugs at the ranch. She had to have a large benign tumor removed earlier this year and has done great since then. Unfortunately she has been having recurring urinary tract infections even though she’s been on the Urinary S/O prescription food. We had a urine culture done a few days ago so time will tell what might be going on. We love Sweet Pea with all our heart and she will live out her life with us here at the ranch and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
