Well, hello there! I’m Sassy, an 11 year-old, 14 pound, spayed, little lady.
I’m up to date on all my shots and I’m heartworm negative! I came to rescue blind and covered with fleas…trillions…trillions of fleas. I had two flea baths and an anti-fungal bath on my first night at my foster mom’s house. She put me in the adorable pink pajamas so I wouldn’t be cold. Then she trimmed my nails which were extremely long and made it hard for me to walk. Man, did I ever feel better! My beautiful fur is already starting to grow back and I’m not itchy anymore! After my trip to the vet, I was put on medication for a UTI and I’m all finished with that now. I am house trained (now that the UTI is cleared up) and my main wish is to snuggle and be loved forever. I do bump around a bit, since I can’t see where I’m going. I can hear, but it’s difficult for me to figure out where sounds are coming from so I can go to them. I can get down off the couch by myself and even sleep in my foster mom’s bed all night without straying or falling off. I am very quiet and loving and my foster mom says anybody would be lucky to have me be a part of their family. I even get along with all the other dogs I’ve met.
My adoption fee is only $100 and I’m located in Tampa. Can I please live out my golden years by your side? You won’t regret it!
