Lilly Rae – Adopted

Pug Rescue of Florida

Hi pug friends — I’m Lilly Rae and I’m so happy to meet you!

I am a very active and happy 7 yr old pug girl and I would love to be your friend!

My foster parents say that I am the life of the party — you know when I’m around and having a good time because I let out a happy howl to show my delight.

If you are looking for a travel buddy let me know — I love to go for car rides. I sing my happy song to get the fun time rolling but then after a couple of miles I gladly settle down and fall asleep while leaving the driving to you.

My foster family did want me to include one other comment about sleeping…they say I snore very loudly. What can I say? I’m vocal when I’m awake and when I’m asleep!

I’m rather tall and large for a pug — I weigh 28 lbs and I’m pretty strong. For this reason my forever home can’t have young kids. I do love to run around and play and I don’t want to knock anyone over.

I’m up to date on my vaccines, spayed, and heartworm negative. I am potty trained and leash trained (although I do sometimes pull if I think my people aren’t walking fast enough!).

I’ve overheard my foster parents say that I’m very smart but stubborn. I understand when my people ask me to do something but I don’t always decide to cooperate. I think an experienced dog person would be the best fit for me — and if we could take some training classes we could learn some important tips together and I could brush up on my doggy manners! I really need an active family who can help me get regular exercise to use up some of my energy (a fenced yard would be ideal).  I promise that in return I will shower my new family with lots of pug kisses and cuddles — I am a pug after all and I am a true love pug.
