Boozer – Adopted

Pug Rescue of Florida

Hi friends, my name is Boozer an I’m very happy to meet you!  I’m an approximately 2 yr old Bugg which is a Boston Terrier/Pug mix!

I came to Pug Rescue of Florida with my brothers and sisters as part of the Pug Bug Grumble.  I liked all of my family members but that was a lot of dogs!  I am now enjoying the peace and quiet of my foster home.  You see, I’m a lover and kind of a shy guy. I’m timid and sweet and just want to snuggle and have my belly rubbed.

My main job is to follow my human everywhere and make sure everything’s o.k.  I’ve figured out the doggie doors at my foster home  but I’m still not entirely sure about what they’re for except to go look for my foster mom when she disappears.  She’s working on teaching me that they’re for going out to the bathroom…Needless to say, we are still trying to figure out the potty training thing  but I’m learning the schedule and getting better every day.

I’m up to date on my vaccines and heartworm negative. I’m getting neutered soon and will be ready for adoption around July 20th.

I’m looking for a nice quiet family who wants a loving, handsome companion to cuddle.  I get along great with other dogs and I’ll bet cats wouldn’t bother me a bit!  I weigh 22 pounds and that’s all love!

If you think I would be a great fit with your family please submit your adoption application today!

** Because members of the Pug Bug Grumble need help with basic training and socialization, we are looking for adoptive homes with:

  • experienced dog owners willing to help their new pug/bugg build confidence
  • forever family must not be gone long hours (not more than 4 at a time) as these dogs need to be monitored, nurtured, and potty trained.
  • no children under the age of 8

Complete an adoption application here. If you love me but can’t adopt me, please send a donation to help pay medical bills for not just me but my fellow foster brothers and sisters. They sure could use it!
