Rocky Barone (aka Rock Star)- adopted 6/12

Rocky Barone (his foster mom calls him Rock Star because he is so fabulous) is a 4 yr. old pug boy that loves everyone and everything he meets. Not surprising since the home he came from had two big dogs, a cat and a toddler. When his owners had their human baby, Rocky B and the other dogs were sent to the backyard to live. Never good – especially in Florida. They were eaten up by fleas. When Rocky B first came in he had a lot of hair loss on his back and by his tail (typical flea infestation) and he had a skin infection from the fleas and the heat. Luckily for Rocky B his owner couldn’t stand seeing him live like that anymore and called Pug Rescue of Florida to help him. We are happy to report he is looking good now and ready to be adopted. We have treated his skin infection, his hair is growing back in nicely, he has had his vaccines updated, his teeth cleaned and has been neutered. Now all he needs is for someone to fall in love with him (easy to do) and give him the forever home he deserves. Rocky B loves walks and car rides, playing tug of war with his toys, and hanging out with you. He loves to snuggle in bed with you at night too. He is just an all around great pug. We are thinking the husband paid more attention to the dogs in the home he came from because while he likes his foster mom, he LOVES his foster dad. He is literally MAN’S best friend ….he follows his foster dad everywhere and waits by the door for him to return when he leaves – very endearing. If you think you are a match for this sweetheart, then rock on and send your application today to adopt him. If you love Rocky Barone but can’t adopt him, then please get down with your bad self and send a donation to honor this Rock Star and help Pug Rescue of Florida continue to help pugs like Rocky all over the State of Florida.
