Theo - Pug Rescue of Florida

Hello! My name is Theodore and as you can see by my photos I am one adorable dude!

I came from a shelter in North Brevard, but there wasn’t any information as to why I was abandoned. My foster mom can’t imagine why I was turned in, since I am such a sweet and easy-going guy to have around!  I love being near my foster mom, and often follow her everywhere she goes. Sometimes if I’m left alone with no other dogs around, I experience some separation anxiety so my new home should have another furry friend to keep me company. I get along with children, dogs, and everything in between!

The vet thinks I’m about 9 years young, and in good shape for my age. My eyes are healthy, as well as all of my blood work. I do have a neurological condition, where my back-end isn’t very strong so I walk with a little swagger.  Sometimes I have a little accident because of this.  My foster mom gives me an inexpensive medication to help me with the discomfort I sometimes experience and I’m doing great. That doesn’t stop me from loving my leashed walks throughout the day, however, and romping with the other dogs out in the yard.

My teeth were recently cleaned, so I’ve been told my breath has greatly improved and I’ve got a nice healthy smile!  Please consider adopting me, as I make such a great companion to my current foster mom whom just adores me!
