Are you ready to meet Rootin-Tootin Ruddi!!
We are so happy to introduce this sweet pug girl named Ruddi. Her foster mom has nothing but wonderful things to say about this beauty…
This amazing little creature came into my life when her owner could no longer give her the care she needed and he made the difficult decision to surrender her to Pug Rescue of Florida.
She is such a lovable little character! She is just plain fun to be around. She loves her toys and brings them to you so you can play tug of war with her. That is why we call her Rootin-Tootin Ruddi.
She’s an easy girl to be around too. She loves to snuggle and be with you but is good on her own as well. She loves car rides, always leans up against you and puts her head on you in the car…so endearing! She likes to drive too but of course we only let her do that when we are sitting still in the parking lot.
Like me, she has arthritis and takes medications for that but it doesn’t keep her down. She still loves to go for a walk, just can’t go as fast or as far as before. She is 110% potty trained even goes to the door.
Ruddi’s only issues aren’t her fault, just the hand she was dealt. She has severe dry eye and she is diabetic. Therefore, for the rest of her life she needs prescription dog food, insulin injections twice a day and prescription eye drops. She takes it all in stride and is very good about everything. Ruddi is looking for a home that understands that diabetes and dry eyes is just something dogs and people live with and that will love her for the wonderful pug girl she is.
She will do fine with or without another dog but no alpha females please. I have no doubt that when you meet her, her little personality will tickle you the way it tickles me and you will fall in love with her just as I have.
She is approximately 8 years young, weighs 19 lbs. and is living in The Villages while she is anxiously awaiting her new forever home. Her adoption fee is only $175.00.
