Regina – Adopted

Regina - Pug Rescue of Florida

We are happy to introduce the newest member of Pug Rescue of Florida — meet Regina!

No, Regina is not a pug, but she found her way to Pug Rescue of Florida and we couldn’t wait to help her. We believe her to be a mix of Frenchie and English bulldog.  She was surrendered to PROoF because her owner died and the spouse didn’t want her.  It’s very hard to believe because this bully girl is an AMAZING dog!

Just look at that sweet face.  She is cute and super smart… did I say cute??

For such a young dog, Regina is laid back. And for a big boned girl she is very gentle and plays nice with my small pug.  She is very respectful of her foster mom’s dogs and has no food or toy aggression.

She does get snippy with them if they try to take her chew stick but it sounds much worse than it is… she has a very deep loud bark that sounds like a Rottweiler (good security system) but will roll over on her back and give you her belly if you baby talk her.  She will also gently paw at your arm to let you know you are slacking and need to pet her…it really is precious 🙂

We are uncertain how she gets along with cats… update later!

She is house trained (not one accident) and crate trained.  She has happily gutted a few stuffed toys but she is not destructive to household items.

She is as sweet as maple syrup and just wants to stare into your eyes and snuggle. She also likes to play fetch.   If you are looking for a loving, intelligent, gentle, super sweet companion, then look no further… Regina is your girl.
