This little darling is Annie Rose.
Annie Rose and her foster mom are looking for a true Pug Rescuer to give her the home she needs and deserves.
She came to rescue when her human momma died. I’m sure her owner thought she loved Annie but sadly she came to us skin and bones; rotting teeth; anemic from being covered in fleas; numerous mammary gland tumors, infected ears and had obviously been used to produce puppies. Worst of all, she has a mast cell cancer on her front leg that is in a location where it will be difficult to impossible to remove.
She is eating great and has gained 2 pounds since arriving in Rescue. She is a funny little quirky pug girl, and at this point does not act sick at all. She will go in her crate when you have to be gone (short periods only please) but when you are home, she loves to be in eye shot of her chosen human. She is currently her foster mom’s shadow and sleeps on foster mom’s pillow at night.
Since her foster mom already has too many pugs, Annie Rose needs to find a forever person to claim and shadow. She needs someone to love her and keep her safe for the rest of her days. She is possessive of her toys when it comes to other dogs (especially her pug egg and her lamb lamb), so it would be best for her to be an only dog or with a passive dog that doesn’t care about toys. She cannot go to a home with another pushy female dog. Annie Rose doesn’t really care about the other dogs anyway…just her human.
Pug Rescue is currently getting advice on what will be the best course of action for Annie Rose. We are looking for a loving Pug Rescuer to step up and work together with us to help her have the best life she can have. She is a happy little thing. So, if you think you could provide a loving home for her, please apply to adopt her today and together we will figure out a plan for her. She is fostered in the Villages. Her adoption fee is only $200.
