Please keep Zeus and Pug Rescue of Florida in your thoughts and prayers. Our vets estimate his medical needs at roughly $4,000 which is better than the shelter estimated but still our mountain to climb and we do it gladly. We do ask for any help you can give us any way you can give it. We know not everyone can donate, and if you are someone who can, please donate today to help Zeus.
We dog lovers do make a difference…one dog at a time.

Hi! My name is Onyx Marie. I am about 11 months old and weigh 10- 12 lbs. Rescue thinks that I am a part Pug and part Brussels Griffon. Even though I don’t look much like a Pug it does show in my personality. My previous owner was an elderly lady who just lost her husband and was unable to continue to care for me. When I first came to my foster home, I was shy, but by the second day I was having a great time with my foster mom’s boy dogs that are a lot bigger than me! I am very loving, a snuggler, and playful. My foster mom says I am a gem!! I’m still working on the potty training, but what can you expect? I am still a baby! I am great with kids, other dogs and cats too! One of my rear legs is bowed out so soon my
rescue friends are taking me to an surgeon to see if it is something that they need to fix or if it is just part of my charm. If it needs to be fixed, rescue will have that taken care of now and I will be on the mend in no time. If you love me and want to adopt me and/or rehab foster me and/or help rescue with my surgery costs…..all or any of that would be great. Please send your application and/or donation
today. I am currently being fostered in the Tampa area and my adoption fee is only $400 which helps Rescue to pay medical bills for the more than 300 pugs they rescue each year.
