June 15, 2012 Update:
My Pug Rescue friends noticed I had a little hop to my walk and took me to be evaluated by a specialist. He said, like a lot of pugs, I have a luxating patella (aka popping knee) and my palate may be elongated (aka I breathe like an overweight pug). I may or may not need surgery but the Specialist won’t even consider it until we see how I do when I am at a good weight. So, a year from now he wants to see me again. Considering how good I am doing at my heavy weight, my Pug Rescue friends are hopeful that once I get the weight off I will be practically perfect and won’t need any dang ole surgery. Needless to say, in order to be my love match you must be totally committed to my weight lose program which includes being able to say “NO” to my adorable little begging face and you need to be a pug rescuer that wants to rescue an adorable pug girl that may or may not need surgery.
