Darla- Adopted 8/29

My name is Darla, and yes I am a darling puggle. In some puggles, it’s hard to see any pug, but you can clearly see the pug influence in me. I’m about six years old, spayed, about 27 lbs, but working to get a few pounds off, and of course I go outside to potty. I love using the doggie door and going for walks.

I suffered for a long time with allergies, but I’m on the mend. My foster dad has me on a raw meat diet (which is a natural nutritious diet for a canine) and not only do I love it, but my skin is clearing up. Dehydrated chicken or lamb (product of the USA) are the treats I love. None of those cereal biscuits or commercial foods for me. The diet, keeping me flea free, some medicated baths, and sometimes a quick injection during the height of allergy season, should keep me very comfortable.

When I smile, my bottom teeth show in an endearing way, but no matter what my expression, you can see my sweetness. I get along with cats, dogs, and all humans. Why not? I want everyone to love each other.
