Brutus came to us from a home where he was neglected and left outside
most of the time. Needless to say, he was not in the best of health.
When we first got him he had skin issues, eye issues, a yeast
infection, and heart worm. He's currently getting treatment for all
of these conditions and is doing great. He will be ready to be
neutered soon, and then he'll be ready to find his forever home!!!
Brutus is probably the sweetest and most mellow pug that I've known.
He's very curious and likes to be where the action is but isn't too
clingy like some pugs can be. He gets along well with our two younger
pugs and cat. For being an older guy he keeps up just fine with his
younger siblings. I think he would do well in a house with other dogs
or as an only dog. I also think he would do well with small children
because he's so calm, I've yet to see him jump, bark, or bite. He's
house trained and is very easy to take out. He'll pretty much walk to
the door, walk out, do his business, and come right back inside! He
sleeps in a dog bed either in a crate or on the floor. We let him up
into our bed and on the furniture but he needs to be supervised because
he can't jump very well and I don't want him to hurt himself. All in all
he's a very good dog who deserves a great home that wants to give him all
the love and attention that he deserves.
