Little Bella came from a breeder with 9 other pugs and she was in desperate need of vetting. When she arrived she was missing a lot of her coat. In the photo you can see it in her legs and wrinkles. She was covered in yeast and smelled horribly. She has since had a wonderful soothing bath and smells so much better. She has been to the vet and she is being treated for her skin issues. Once she is on the mend, she will be spayed because her breeding days are finally over. In the meantime Rescue is asking for donations to help cover Little Bella's medical expenses along with the expenses of her rescued breeder friends. A number of them are require other services such as tumor removals, eye exams, nose jobs, skin treatments and hip and knee surgeries.

Update 1/26/10 I have since been spayed and updated on all of my shots. The Vet also did a thyroid test on me and it was determined that I need to take a thyroid pill twice a day. I am such a good girl that I take it very well. I have come out of my shell nicely and I am just starting to play with toys. I am nervous about meeting new people, but once I smell you and you are my friend we are BFFs. I will follow you around and never leave your side. I think I would do best in a home with out children. If I sound like the best little pug baby for you, put me in your application!
